Ethan Ames Builder
Ethan Ames is a designer and builder who has lived and worked in New York City for 26 years. He is a generalist, completing projects from the small to the large. He is self-trained from origins at his childhood workbench in the hills of Vermont to a bench top in the East Village in the 90s.
His passions lie in furniture and sculpture, and his specialties include custom design on a large scale such as for the roof gardens of Manhattan. His current endeavors include Solardeck, a company dedicated to the production of walkable solar installations. He is available for commissions.
